They're Poor Winners, Too

They're Poor Winners, Too

Leftists are always lecturing Republicans and conservatives on the importance of civility and bipartisanship yet revealing, whether winner or losing, that they are the ones who need lessons in manners and collegiality.

If you aren't convinced of the left's nonpareil arrogance and nastiness from observing their behavior toward President Bush and Vice President Cheney for the past eight years, then contrast the behavior of Mr. Bush's staff leaving office and that of Mr. Clinton's, who literally trashed the White House like juvenile delinquents.

Fast-forwarding to this week, did you see Obama supporters booing President Bush at the inauguration, singing, "Na, na, na, na, hey, hey, hey, goodbye"? Pure class.

The Washington Times reported that these same Obama supporters mocked Mr. Cheney "with derisive laughter when he appeared on huge TV screens by the Capitol grounds, rolling down a ramp in a wheelchair after suffering a back injury moving out of his Naval Observatory home. 'Good riddance!' one man yelled."

Nor was it just rude mobs at the parade. "Hardball" host Chris Matthews wasn't content to bask in his euphoria over Obama's assumption of office. Like many of his colleagues, he needed to kick Bush as he was going out the door. "There'll be no more bullying of the world, no more acting like one of the bad guys on occasion. We're going to try again to be the good guy of the world and to get along with our fellow democracies. It is a dramatic change that's to come." Dramatic, indeed, Chris.

I am already sorry to see President Bush leave!

Obama couldn't wait to make "changes" to all the good things we had. Everyday he signs papers, changes rules, releases terrorists, approves abortions...and he's only been president for three days.

SCARY!

We can only hope that he runs out of ink, pens, speech writers, stupid ideas before he ruins our nation...or, as he plans, to ruin the world!

Anonymous # 1, obama isn't The Antichrist, he only has the spirit of antichrist...big difference.
And alot of people have that spirit.
And the egregious behavior of obama's followers IS mindless and uncivilized.
G*D bless and MARANATHA!

ANON (WHICH HAS BEEN REMOVED), my mission statement at the top of my blog isn't racist; you're only reading it through your own race-baiting eyes.

Yes, Obama may scotch for a long time another black man or woman becoming president if he messes up badly enough--and that would be a shame as there are surely many better qualified than he.

And, yes, racists have always said blacks only care about their own, so Obama has the chance to prove that true and give the racists more meat for their arguments--and that would be a shame, too. Better he should prove it false for all time by not using pay-for-play, or catering to his Leftist special interest groups--or working the next 4 years on buying/cheating his re-election.

Lastly, you all think the whole world voted for Obama and that he has a permanent mandate--when he won with only 2.2% more votes than did President Bush (even with ACORN and all the cheating, multiple credit card donations, and dead folks voting Obama used).

That's not a mandate; all the hubbabubba all around Obama is nothing but a FAD. Calling him the Messiah, saying on 1/21/09 we'll 'have new air to breathe', and claiming he'll stop the oceans from rising ought to make that clear. Him pretending to be Abraham Lincoln MAKES that clear.
