OLYMPICS 2008 - With all the cheating the Chinese have done, for any decent spirit to come out of this Olympics--to really define it--will be Michael and his humble wins, devoid of cheating--and taken 35 years to achieve. What a tableau--America prevails, in spirit and excellence, without cheating--and on another's home turf (upon which China and communism were supposed to carry the day.)

Your words are a splendid tribute to Michael Phelps, to the true spirit of an American Hero.
Phelps has been ASTOUNDING! Carmen and I have stayed up late evry night to watch his exploits. She's on her new high school swim team so this has been high drama for us.

I was on my high school's swim team when Mark Spitz won his medals. I remember how inspired I was to improve because of his incredible achievement. Michael Phelps has done us proud!
